…and what about the money?!

A camp also costs money…The climate camp is half financed by subsidies, half by camp contributions and donations: so these are very welcome (see account details at the bottom or right side of this page)!

Camp contributions

Everyone should be able to participate in the climate camp, in our actions and generally in our political struggle. Therefore there is no fixed camp fee, but a *recommendation: 0-5€ per person and day*. The idea: Everyone gives as much as he/she can. If it’s double the amount – great! If it is nothing – also good! The most important thing for us is that everyone can participate in the camp and the movement. An information for self-assessment on how much you can give can be found here or in the info point on the camp. On the camp, we will use a donation barometer to keep you up to date on how much money we already have and how much we still need. At the camp, there are donation boxes for the camp contribution in the information and participation tent. If you forgot to pay or don’t have enough cash you can also transfer the camp fee to the donation account number below.

Categories for self-assessment of the amount of the camp contribution

The self-assessment for the camp contribution is based on the camp’s expenditure and on a benchmark scale for economic justice (The green bottle guide <http://www.wortsandcunning.com/blog/sliding-scale>: The Sliding Scale – A Tool of Economic Justice). There are three categories. Please read them carefully and decide how much you want to pay. The donations for the kitchen/food will be calculated separately (experience shows that the recommended donation for the kitchen is 7,50€/day). *
