European Youth for Action

EYFA is a european network of individuals, grassroots organisations and collectives working to transform communities in their approach to environmental, social, political and economic positions. The EYFA network is primarily used to share information, skills and resources. It is a way to trans-nationally connect local issues and struggles. In particular, it focuses on connecting groups all over Europe, building solidarity amongst different regions. EYFA works to challenge the dominant neoliberal social and economic system, while developing new ways of organising our communities based on environmental and social sustainability. We co-organize international gatherings on different topics; we support in creating and getting access to trainings and workshops, as well as materials that may be needed along the way.

Once a year, members of the EYFA network come together to discuss our previous accomplishments and failures, our strategies and plans for the future. These meetings are very important for our network because they provide us with the opportunity to meet with our international comrades face to face and build stronger bonds with one another.
We thought that, instead of having a closed “private” meeting, this time it would be nice to participate in a bigger event where there could be the possibility to meet other people/groups who are working on campaigns and initiatives that might be new, exciting and/or inspirational to us!
