Vinyasa-Yoga-Sessions

This class focusses on a healthy re-adjustment and strengthening of the body. Through a collective meditation at the end of the class we allow our body and mind to settle and calm down. (If possible, bring your own Yoga-mat)

Saturday 19.08. – Afternoon 3:00pm-5:30pm

One for all, all for one – How can we live together to strengthen ourselves?

Description: How does a living together look like, in which the collective strengthens each single individual and each individual strengthens the collective? Let us explore our vision of a life-affirming togetherness. Exchanging and trying out tools of deep ecology of the “work that reconnects” will allow us to embody such a way of life – in words, movement, pictures and sounds. Come and design and dream about what we are here for.

We are the climate! Meditation to strengthen resistance

Description: I invite you to a moment of tranquility that gives you the opportunity to grow beyond your own self. Through meditative movement practices, we are going on a journey that extends our experience of our individual selves in order to embrace nature. For that we can go into actions strengthened, with the awareness that we are lignite, having adopted human forms to protect the climate balance!

Sunday 20.08. – Morning 10:00am-12:30pm

Find YOUR way to the good life !!! – Vision work to recognize your own goals and opportunities

Description: Our life is characterized by change. We are looking for our place. Visions are emotional images of an attractive future in the sense of a possible utopia. Visions can give our actions a good orientation or an idea of our being and what is desirable for us. Inner vision work invites in a creative way to pause. How do I want to live? What is a good life for me? What is important for TOGETHERNESS? And how do my steps for a realisation look like?

Sunday 20.08. – Afternoon 3:00pm-5:30pm

Vulnerability, shame, society, and activism

Description:We live in a society of “never-enough”, which is characterized by a pressure to perform and competition with little to no room for vulnerability. Shame makes us feel deficient. What happens when we understand vulnerability not as weakness, but as courage, when we learn to speak openly about our shame? What could this change in dealing with ourselves, our way of activism, and in society?

Monday 21.08. – Morning 10:00am-12:30pm

Time, acceleration, climate change, deceleration – why we have to be much slower!

Description: In the last 200 years, there has been tremendous acceleration everywhere, and this is not good for us and our planet. Is it inevitable? What has initiated this process, where does it lead us, and how can we reverse it? This will be discussed and individual and collective “deceleration paths” are developed.

Monday, 21.08. – Afternoon 3:00pm-5:30pm

Cultivating the spirit of social-ecological activism (Part 2 on Tuesday Afternoon 3:00pm-5:30pm)

Description: Participating in social-ecological activism sometimes resembles hopping between hopes and defeats. It takes a lot of courage, endurance and patience to become a ‘successful’ activist. This workshop is based on the work of Dorothee Sölle. For Sölle, spirituality has little to do with church, dogma’s and a heavenly afterlife, but everything with resistance, fighting injustice, and innovation in the here-and-now. If we find the language that expresses the deepest existential experiences of our activism, we learn to connect to ourselves. In a series of 2 workshops you make a start with exploring the process of transformation that you have already gone through yourself (workshop 1) and articulating the spiritual dimension of your journey (workshop 2). This may open up new perspectives on yourself and the world.

Dance-Movement-Somatics (Part 2 on Wednesday Morning 10:00am – 12.30pm)

Description: In this workshop that will take place on two mornings, I will work with elements of contemporary dance, body work, contact improvisation and authentic movement. My aim is to guide the participants to strengthen the awareness and perception of their bodies and center themselves. Besides these exercises focussing on the body, I will introduce methods that concentrate on the group interaction and non-verbal communication. I am looking forward to your curiousity, questions, exploration, play and to whatever else you would like to bring!
